Taxonomy

The genus Lasiomyrma was established by Terayama & Yamane (2000), and classified into the tribe Stenammini.

A single specimen of Lasiomyrma sp. eg-1 was collected by Time Unit Sampling near the top of Mt. Ba Vi, ca. 1,100 m alt. (Eguchi et al. 2005).
